Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun hack Indie tag
11k / Info=Shadow Tactics is a hardcore tactical stealth game set in Japan around the Edo period. A new Shogun seizes power over Japan and enforces nationwide peace. In his battle against conspiracy and rebellion, he recruits five specialists with extraordinary skills for assassination, sabotage and espionage / Indie / notice=Great game, reminiscent of the Commandos and Desperados games except maybe better. About 3 missions in, I'm still engaged and looking forward to the plot development. The gameplay mechanics are simple and rewarding and loading/saving is a breeze if plans go wrong. Listening to Yuki's lines took the immersion away a little with her being the only character with a British accent and stringing sentences together like Smeagle in Lord of The Rings.
